If there’s one question that I have asked my whole life, it is how we, as humans, understand our roles and identity.
I grew up moving between Bangladesh and England, never quite sure which role I was meant to play — not fully one thing, not fully the other. Later, with my husband and children, we lived in five different countries, building a life while constantly adjusting to new cultures, schools, and expectations. Each move taught me both the gift and the weight of adaptability.
I taught Secondary Science, Biology and Psychology, and stepped into both middle and senior leadership roles in international schools. How well I performed and how well I served really depended on how closely I listened to the voice inside me. What I always loved the most was coaching students and adults deeply, so that they could find the questions (and pathways) they were looking for.
There were times when I decided to do what was required of me by an organisation and to ignore the feeling that I was letting go of my own unique way of serving. And each time, this did not end well.
My doctoral research explored how people make sense of their professional roles when organisations go through change — something I experienced firsthand. I saw how unclear expectations, shifting systems, and unspoken pressures could leave even the most capable people feeling lost, overworked, or undervalued.
With a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Psychology, I tried to make sense of the science of stress, consciousness and the mind — but it was my decades of exploring meditation, mindfulness, Reiki, the Silva Method and other grounding practices that gave me a deeper sense of self. Slowly, I learned that clarity doesn’t come from playing every role perfectly. It comes from pausing, listening, and choosing the ones that truly fit in the moment and having space to evolve.
It’s where I bring together psychology, science, and mindful practice to help people — especially in midlife — step out of exhausting cycles and return to their own grounded rhythm.
Because you’re not just the roles you’ve been asked to play. You’re more than that. And when you start to live from that deeper place, everything — work, family, leadership, life — begins to feel clearer, calmer, and more true.
The Grounded Renewal Programme is where we begin to press pause, step out of stress cycles, and rebuild life from a place of alignment.
You’ll find a mix of science, mindfulness, and practical tools — all designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and create a rhythm that actually sustains you.
This is not about hustling harder or fixing yourself. It’s about returning to the self that’s been here all along — wiser, steadier, and ready to lead the next chapter of your life.
If any part of my story feels familiar — the juggling of roles, the quiet question of “who am I really in all of this?”, or the longing to feel calm and clear again — then you’re in the right place.
